I'm very active and love being outdoors.

I absolutely love to travel! I've been to 13 countries so far and I'm hoping to increase that number soon.

I currently own my own smartphone application business.

I love helping kids become successful students!

About Me

I graduated 2 years ago from the University of Arizona with a BS in Finance. After graduation, I started a business that focuses on developing cost-effective smartphone applications. While I love my job, I have thoroughly enjoyed spending my free time albuquerque">tutoring students.

I have tutored numerous middle school and high school students in the subjects of math, science, English and New Mexico history. My most recent student raised her English and math grades by 20 and 15 percentage points, respectively, over the course of 2 months.

With a lot of subjects, especially math and science, students become discouraged because the content seems so useless. They are much more interested in their everyday lives than things like the Pythagorean Theorem. I try to break that barrier - to help students see how the things they learn in school can help them solve problems in the real world. I do this by making lessons creative, interesting and fun.
