I have been working with children since I was in High School. If you want a laugh, I have 2 children of my own but I look so young that they think my oldest is my brother.

About Me

I have an AAS in Early Childhood Education and a BA in Psychology. I have been a teacher for about 8 years now and currently, I am a First Grade teacher. I will be pursuing my Masters's Degree soon and hope to open up a Daycare/Childcare centre

Experience

I started tutoring in high school through a daycare centre. Then I continued tutoring for friends and family. Now I tutor through my employer at the Elementary school I work for.

Approach

I have learned how every child learns and understands how to tackle a task differently. Not one child is the same and so we must learn to teach in many different varieties. I try to use a variety of techniques until I find the best way a child is understanding a lesson. sometimes you have to use tools like props, especially when teaching math.
