In my free time, I love bouldering! I used to think that the sport was all about strength, but it requires a degree of skill and mental effort. I also love acrylic painting in my free time, it helps calm me down.

About Me

I am a recent graduate from the University of California, Davis. I transferred from a two-year honors program at Clovis Community College and earned my A.S. in Life Sciences then got my B.S. from UC Davis in Biological Sciences. I hope to pursue a Master's Degree in Biomedical Communications which combines my love of science and biology with my passion for the arts with the end goal of becoming a certified medical illustrator.

Experience

As a recent university graduate, I've had experience with one-on-one study sessions with classmates and discussions where I took a leadership role in explaining concepts while also strengthening my understanding of the subject matter.

Approach

Throughout elementary school and middle school, I struggled a lot with math, but I found that a self-teaching approach with small steps is key to helping me understand the concepts better.
