I love the beach and hanging out with my family. Some of my favourite hobbies include cooking and travelling as well as music, photography and anything that I can be creative at.
About Me
I am currently the Assistant Director/Teacher at my preschool. I never stop learning, which is why I love a lot of creative outlets which keep me interested and wanting to learn new things.
I am also a mom of two children. My daughter Juliet is 18 years old, a high school graduate, attending Sacramento State University in the fall for her first year in college. My son, Edwin, is 16 years old, and a sophomore in high school.

I have been teaching young children for nine years. Teaching is my passion!

My teaching style is rooted in social-emotional education. I am a teacher that wants to build relationships with their students. I will be your biggest fan, cheering you on through your struggles every time you reach the next level because you can do it! Teaching the whole student- mind, body and spirit will instil the resilience to keep learning and help students succeed.

Arts Tutoring
In my years of teaching, I have incorporated many art lessons in my lesson planning, I think art is a great creative outlet that helps to balance out the more academic subjects and is a great way for hands on learning.

I am an avid reader and love to read! I read almost every day. I earned an A in my college English coursed due to good reading and writing skills.
Homework Coach Tutoring
Having two children, one with learning difficulties, I have always made sure that my children were completing their homework. Actively participated in homework projects, helping them think of ideas and resources and getting their supplies. Helping them manage their time so that homework gets completed on time.
Reading Comprehension Tutoring
I have a strong comprehension of language as an avid reader which helps me accurately comprehend the reading material. I have helped my son the most with his reading comprehension throughout his school years.
Study Skills Tutoring
Helping my own two children daily with their homework and going back to college as an older person, I have had to learn excellent study skills. This is my area of specialty because I am very organized and have good time management skills all of which are crucial when study and completing homework.
Reading Tutoring
I love to read! I love spending time in a library or bookstore. There are so many ways we can read, and I love to share this with my students!
