Coming from a beautiful Greek island, I love swimming in the sea and am a massive foodie (and married to one, too).

About Me

I am a native Greek speaker and an experienced TA/tutor for all learning stages and ages. I am passionate about sharing my knowledge of the Greek language (ancient & modern), which is the reason why I draw a lot of my teaching material from the fascinating Ancient Greek mythology and history.

I have a PhD in Medicine (University of Southampton, UK) and a BSc in Biology (University of Patras, Greece), and am currently working in the Biotechnology field (Research Scientist). I am always excited to share my love for Biology and Science with my students of all levels and backgrounds.

Experience

I have extensive experience TA/tutoring numerous subjects including but not limited to Biology, Science, Chemistry and Math. I also have 8 years experience in teaching modern Greek to learners of all ages ranging from beginner to advanced levels.

As a biomedical scientist, I have worked at UK Universities as a research fellow, as well as in the private sector as an applications specialist, traveling all over the world to different customers and helping them achieve their research goals.

Approach

My experience with working with students of all levels and ages, has made me highly adaptable to each student's different needs and goals. As a private tutor, I always offer lessons that are tailored to each individual's special circumstances and interests.
