Fun Facts

I love playing video games of all types and on different devices (Nintendo devices, PC, PlayStation). I always start with self-teaching anything I want to learn how to do. For example, I have recently started learning how to crochet by experimenting.

About Me

I am a student at Foothill Community College studying art to get my associate's degree, then transferring to get an official teaching credential to work in schools as an art teacher.

Experience

During my high school years, I worked with preschool through early grade school kids in a gymnastics facility. Having to create class instruction every week, I have the experience of creating a class that helps one learn a new skill for most of the course while still practicing and improving previously learned skills.

Approach

During my high school art years, I had the same art teacher for different school years. Being in her classes helped in learning what NOT to do, especially for the major projects we had. She was very limited in creative freedom and expression and I don't want to follow those steps. I believe when learning and doing art, you should fully be able to express your creativity to build confidence in what you are creating
