Fun Facts

I love sports! I am very passionate about rock climbing and yoga. I love adventuring outdoors (camping, outdoor climbing, stargazing, scrambling). I was also a big nerd in high school, so I love both video games and board games! Some new hobbies that I'm trying to work on this year are break dancing and cooking.

About Me

Outside of tutoring, I love to rock climb and take yoga classes. I love self-improvement and health/fitness, so I prioritize going to my climbing gym, cooking healthy meals, and tutoring to balance out my physical with my mental. I love teaching, and I want to keep learning. I noticed that I cared more about the results rather than the content in school, so now I would like to go back and relearn many subjects (like Chemistry!). I am becoming more fascinated with how the world works, and there are so many hobbies and skills I want to try.

Experience

I have been a tutor for the past 6 years. I have a BS in Computer Engineering, but my passion lies in teaching Mathematics and related subjects. I am currently attending the washington">University of Washington for an MS in Applied and Computation mathematics, but I am becoming more fascinated with Physics. I have also done test prep tutoring (ACT) for many years, and I can tutor the entire exam.

Approach

I am a very patient person, and I cater my teaching based on the individual. I find tutoring very rewarding as I enjoy watching my students grow through hard work and a good attitude. I know school is very challenging, so I want to be there as a guide for my students to answer all their questions and help them where they get stuck. I like to offer advice/input so they can have a smoother academic journey.
