About Me

After teaching special needs students in self-contained and general education classrooms, I now tutor students privately. I am passionate about nurturing students’ abilities at all levels.

Experience

I am a certified teacher in the State of Texas. I have 18 years of experience teaching in Texas public schools and 7 years of experience tutoring. I am familiar with ADHD, ADD, Dyslexia and learning differences, Autism, and neurological disorders.

Approach

I am patient and hardworking. I break down difficult tasks into easy-to-follow short steps. I provide encouragement and positive feedback. I like to include fun activities such as educational online games to practice math facts.
