I have had a passion for horses since I was 5 and still ride! I enjoy cooking, baking, and reading. I also spend a great deal of time with my 4-year-old Australian Shepherd!

About Me

I am a graduate of the University of Michigan where I studied elementary education. I have been an educator for the past 6 years teaching a wide variety of subjects such as math, science, reading comprehension, social studies, and much more!

Experience

I have been an elementary educator for the past 6 years where I have gained a great deal of experience working with a wide variety of learning needs and diverse populations.

Approach

I struggled with math as a kid and didn't find the help I needed until much later on. Part of the reason I became a teacher was to help students find different ways to approach a challenging topic. I believe in the importance of relationship-building and connecting academics to the real world.
