I am happy and relaxed when I find time to draw and cook. I love to eat and learn how to make new dishes to pleasure my taste buds, but if I feel like not doing much and still enjoying my time then drawing is what I gravitate towards.

About Me

I am a Sophomore at Georgia State University majoring in Business Marketing. I've made the Dean's list and my future goals are to be an entrepreneur.

Experience

I was a member and president of my high school club, Conexcion Latina, and I had the opportunity to tutor the Spanish-speaking students to help them catch up with the pace of their classes, I did this every week of my senior year. I also tutored my friends in their math and Spanish classes whenever they need help since 8th grade.

Approach

I understand what it's like for class to be moving at a fast pace and barely keeping up with the curriculum can cause a lot of stress, which makes you unmotivated to keep learning. However, when I had the opportunity to tutor students, I had an approach that was simply just getting them comfortable to learn, making it clear that we were working at their pace and their pace only. This opens them up to the idea of learning and it lets them want to comprehend and study the materials without pressure.
