Fun Facts

History is by far one of the most subjects I've studied in. It's practically a hobby of mine to learn more about our past! I'm always searching for more facts to learn about human history whether it's military or cultural influences.

About Me

I am a recent graduate from Kennesaw State University. I graduated with a Bachelor's in Journalism, and I am hoping to pursue sports, but I also love helping others academically. I couldn't have gotten far without my excellent teachers, and I hope to be one for others as well.

Experience

I've worked at the Kumon Academy for roughly six years, and I work with a range of elementary students to high school students. I've been comfortable working with every student there, and I'm happy to say that I've helped them succeed in their assignments.

Approach

I found that having a teacher that is willing to understand your perspective on things is important. Whether your way of thinking is wrong or slightly off, it's the teacher's job to understand where they are coming from to make the best plan of action to tackle tough subjects. A job is best done when the person doing the job knows what to do, so I need to know that my students know what they're doing before the real deal.
