Fun Facts
I am in the sorority Kappa Kappa Gamma. I am the President of the Pan-Hellenic Honorary 'Rho Lambda.' I am on the board of For the Kids, the University's largest philanthropic organization. I am the Public Relations Chair of For The Kids. I am an English Literature major with a second major in Political Science: Law and Public Policy.
About Me
I am a senior at the University of Arizona studying English Literature and Political Science. I was born and raised in Los Angeles CA where I went to an elite all girls prep school. I was an Olympic level swimmer, but I hurt my back and can no longer train. I have an 11 year old brother who is always calling me for homework help. I love school and I love inspiring others to love school as well.
I was involved in the tutoring program at my high school; if you had above certain grade requirements you were asked to tutor students struggling in those areas in which you excelled. I participated in this program for 4 years. I tutored everything from Latin to Calculus.
I love practice problems. I believe that practice is the only way to truly learn something. By learning the steps to solve a problem, it is much easier to overcome an unfamiliar, but similar problem in a test setting.
