About Me

I am currently a senior at Georgia Southern University. I did two years of nursing before making the switch to middle grades education. I plan on graduating on December 12, 2023, with a BS in Education. I will begin my Master's at Georgia State University in January 2024 while being a first-year middle school science teacher in the Gwinnett/Atlanta area. I have passed both of my GACE content exams and am certified in grades 4-8 ELA and science. I am very passionate about working with children, and I enjoy seeing them grow into unique & amazing individuals.

Experience

I have tutored many students in a variety of areas for about 2 1/2 years. I was also a GCPS Summer Learning Enrichment Acceleration Program (SEA) tutor. During that time, I worked with middle school students from June 12th-June 30th by tutoring and providing extra support for students struggling with learning content in different subjects; specifically science and ELA.
