I finished my pediatric medical residency in June of this year! I have two dogs (one big and one small). I just moved back from Jackson, MS.

About Me

I recently completed my 3-year general pediatrics medical residency! Because of how long credentialing and onboarding will take, I would like to resume my position as a tutor to continue practicing the art of teaching. I was born and raised in Texas but have traveled extensively for my medical education and moved back from Mississippi in July.

Experience

I have tutored since I was an undergraduate at TCU. I enjoy getting to know a child and figuring out how best they learn then incorporating that into helping them learn the material. I also was active in teaching the medical students who would work with us in the hospital and clinics.

Approach

I have found that I learn through many approaches. I am patient and consistent and am a huge proponent of positive reinforcement.
