I am a lover of science fiction literature! Reading a captivating sci-fi novel on a sunny Sunday afternoon with a nice cup of coffee is one of my favorite things to do!

About Me

I am a Fashion Merchandising Graduate, with a minor in Business Administration, from the prestigious Auburn University. War Eagle! After graduation, I became a small business owner and have had a successful hair salon for the past seven years. In addition to running a business, I have a passion for the arts, fundamental reading, and math concepts as well as teaching children!

Experience

I am a product of magnet school teaching. I attended Westside Magnet School (3rd-8th grade) where I discovered my love of the arts and math. I was on the traveling poetry team and orchestra (cello bass player) and excelled in all core areas, especially math and reading. Fast forward to high school, I worked as an afterschool and summer school Group Leader. During the school year, I assisted children (ages 7-18) with homework and daily educational club activities.

Approach

I have always had a vivid imagination like so many children, which aided in my ability to visually learn as a child. I enjoyed educational aids that were creative, organized, and effective, and I like to use them in my approach to teaching!
