One passionate thing is I love Marvel. I learned to read as a child thru comic books and graphic novels. I gave a passion for Harry Potter and Twilight, I also love Shakespeare, and Edgar Allen Poe

About Me

I am a teaching assistant at Promise Academy I. I've taught 1st, 2nd, and 5th grade. I worked previously in middle and high school from grade 8-12 in English. I am also a mom to my daughter who is 17.

Experience

I have tutored for 5 years, tutored for Grade Potential Tutoring until I ventured out on my own business. I was tutoring 4 kids a week in English mostly, math. I also did homework help and prepared for statewide exams. I am a teaching assistant at Promise Academy where we have academic hours which is tutoring for our students after school.

Approach

As a child, I realized I wasn't fond of homework as a kid myself, and it helps to understand your student and their needs. It also helps to understand your student's needs and work on improving their confidence in the area they struggle with.
