Fun Facts
I am a very active person and I love being outdoors! When I have days off I love going on hikes on Mount Lemmon with my puppy and boyfriend or going on runs outside. I also love being on the water and have been water skiing and wake boarding since I was six years old.
About Me
I am a senior at The University of Arizona studying mathematics with a minor in ISTA. I'm a huge math nerd that loves solving problems and computer programming. I have earned the academic distinction award from the college of science for receiving above a 3.5 GPA for two semesters in a row while taking 15 credits each semester. I am also a member of MathCats, which is the undergraduate math majors club.
I have been tucson">tutoring my friends in mathematics and chemistry for as long as I can remember. I enjoy teaching and helping others understand math so much that I mostly tucson">tutor for free. Most of my tucson">tutoring experience has been with high school students in algebra, calculus/arizona/tucson">pre calculus, and calculus, but I love teaching all levels of math.
Along with tucson">tutoring high school students, I also have worked at a day care. Working there taught me that everyone learns at a different pace and in a different way. My approach to tucson">tutoring is to personalize my teaching style for each individual that I am helping. Some people just need to do tons of practice problems, while others learn better from real world applications. My goal is to get to know each student's style of learning to give them the best possible learning experience.
