I've had a college reading level in English since I was in 6th grade, I was a competitive figure skater for 5 years, and I traveled to Europe by myself when I was 21 years old. Also, in my early 20s, I spent 3 months training to be a ballroom dance instructor

About Me

I am working for the front office of a financial planning firm and recently received a health and life insurance license. I hope to move up within my company to help our clients as they enter retirement. I've always enjoyed teaching others and currently have extra time in my life to aid others with learning English, reading, and writing.

Experience

I was in Accelerated English in high school and Honors English in college. I also took a Computer Information Systems course in college. I currently don't have official experience with tutoring, aside from my experience as a ballroom dance instructor, but I have trained many employees in my previous and current work experience. I have often assisted and taught coworkers computer skills and troubleshooting.

Approach

Whenever I have the opportunity to teach knowledge or a skill, I try to remember what it was like for myself when I was first learning a new subject. I have patience and understanding for learners and take a positive approach because I remember that we all had to start somewhere.
