About Me

I am originally from Colombia, and I have been teaching Spanish at the college level for over 20 years. My educational background consists of an associate's degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management, a Bachelor's and Master's in Spanish, and a Ph.D. in Spanish Literature and Cultural Production. I travel to Spain and Latin America every year to keep myself updated on current events and to learn new things that I can share with my students.

Experience

I have been teaching Spanish at a college level for over 20 years. I have also tutored high school and college students at all levels.

Approach

Student-Centered Approach. I am a good listener and patient. I understand that people learn in different ways and I like to tailor my teaching and learning approach to fulfill each person's needs.
