About Me
I am a graduate student studying Electrical Engineering at ASU. My major is Power and Energy Systems and I am doing my thesis in the Solar Power Lab on Heterojunction Solar Cells. I am an ASU-QESST Scholar and a member and officer of IEEE Eta Kappa Nu Epsilon Beta Chapter at ASU.
I have been a part of an NGO in India where I taught students of grade 8 to 10 . I taught basic and advance maths and science to middle school students, and Physics to high school students. I am good in teaching the concepts in an easy understandable method. Also I served as the Head of phoenix">Tutoring for the IEEE Eta Kappa Nu Lambda Eta Chapter in Delhi, India, for an year where I taught concepts of physics, robotics and science/arizona/phoenix">computer science to college students.
I take an approach which makes the subject easy to understand for students. I introduce them to the basics and then ask them questions from the same topic to develop their inquisitive skills and make them even more interested in the subject. And then once they are comfortable with the subject I increase the difficulty and take it to the next level. Using this approach the students feel excited about learning new concepts and its a win win situation for both me and my students. They learn and understand the concepts and not cram it, so that it helps them in their life ahead.
