One of my favorite things to do in my free time in college right now is play pool with friends! I also grew up in Grand Prairie, moved to Colorado, then moved back to Texas for college.

About Me

Hi! My name is Rachel Dillon and I am currently a sophomore at the University of Texas at Arlington. My major is Education, specifically for grades 4-8 math and science. I graduated high school with a 4.06 GPA and have always had a passion for math. My goal is to become a middle school math teacher after I graduate college!

Experience

I don't have any tutoring experience as of now, but ever since middle school, I have been in advanced math as I have an excellent understanding of the subject. My favorite math topics include geometry, fractions, pre-algebra, linear equations, and statistics as well as basic elementary-level math.

Approach

In middle school, I had a math teacher whose teaching methods inspired me to want to become a math teacher myself. She knew how to teach in different styles to adapt to every student's needs and taught through examples which helped me fully understand the topics. I aspire to be able to teach the same way she did as she helped me understand math as a whole.
