About Me

I'm a Junior at Arizona State University and my goal is to teach Freshman or Sophomore World History.

I have mostly worked with students inside a classroom setting under the supervision of another teacher or staff member. I don't have much one on one experience but I am open to trying new things.

I believe that students learn best when they are in a comfortable environment that encourages their creativity. I also believe that patience is a key component of learning anything. I am very willing to go over a topic multiple times as long as the student is willing to work hard to achieve the result. My motto is that we're a team and like a team, we have to work together to achieve our end goal.

Experience

I was a phoenix">tutor for individuals with learning disabilities during Junior High and High School. Now I am a Junior at Arizona State University majoring in Secondary Education (History) (BAE) . As part of the Mary Lou fulton">Fulton Teachers College I have had internships at Skyline High School and Fremont Junior High . Both of these schools are located in Mesa Public School District and I am very familiar with the area.

Approach

My teaching style is interactive and cooperative with an emphasis adapting to suit the needs of the client. I am more than willing to take extra time to make sure that the client not only improves but reaches their highest potential. After all learning should not just be about the academics it is also should be about becoming a well rounded individual who contributes to society.
