I love to help people accomplish their goals. I am an accounting major with a professional career in finance. I am very passionate about science, history, and art.

About Me

I have received the President’s List and the Dean’s List throughout my Bachelor’s in Accounting program. I have my Associate’s in Accounting currently. As well as a Certificate in Criminal Justice.

Experience

I have worked previously as a secretary for a junior high school. I grew up watching my mother in her classroom, she taught 6th grade. I have had the pleasure of tutoring during my time in high school and junior high as part of the Big Brother programs. I have also homeschooled one of my children who struggled with mainstream public schooling until her freshman year of high school.

Approach

I have found that teaching is not a one-size-fits-all. Everybody learns differently and at a different pace. My approach is to learn how they learn so that I can help them better understand the material. Asking them questions and frequently checking in every step of the way helps build that confidence.
