A fun fact about myself is I am a big kid at heart! My younger brother, 8, reminds me to have fun and to try new things.
About Me
I am a full-time sophomore undergraduate student at wales-university">Johnson & Wales University, located at the center of Providence. What I see for my future is a career intertwining with social justice and seeking better opportunities for our modern-day youth. I find working with children is a pleasure in itself and a greater reward internally. I'd like to be a part of something I can be proud of like Frog Tutoring! My tutoring methods would consist of different learning methods to fully grasp, understand, and apply the material needed! I am patient and willing to learn from my client's what works best.
Experience
Throughout my education, I've found myself to be a helper and I enjoy the structure that is given to academics. I was a part of the National Honor Society in high school, and this allowed me to connect with other students who were like myself; eager to learn and pass on their knowledge. I was involved in many after-school programs while I was in public school, and this allowed me to see and encounter many different paths in life.
Approach
Growing up as a quiet girl, I found myself observing other students a lot more than usual. I had great teachers who made learning an experience of its own, and it inspired me of the rewards I reaped from being in the classroom. Teachers are the strongest support system in our school systems, and the experiences a child endures will outline their academic journey.
