About Me

I am a current doctoral student at Harrison Middleton University. I do part-time coursework and I am projected to finish in 2025. Getting a doctorate in philosophy has been a huge goal for me.

Experience

I taught at St. Thomas High School for 10 years. I have also taught as an adjunct at the University of St. Thomas. Currently, I teach for the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston in their FTCM program. Being a teacher for so long, I have had many opportunities to help tutor my students.

Approach

In teaching the humanities, it is always important to relate how the subject fits into everyday life so as to make it real for the student. I always try to encourage them through Socratic questioning to make those relations. It is also very important to have a positive attitude and encourage the student with positivity.
