I love biking, SCUBA diving, cooking, listening to live music, volunteering, and traveling. I recently spent 2 weeks in Croatia volunteering with Special Needs Adults.

About Me

I am a long-time teacher who is currently pursuing a master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I have adult children and recently moved back to DFW from the Houston area.

Experience

I have been a teacher for 25 years including public school, private teaching, and online teaching. I spent 10 years as a Homebound teacher, teaching all grades and subjects. I also have nearly 20 years of education/texas/fort-worth">Special Education Experience and can work with you to select a reading program for your special needs child. I have also taught ESL online.

Approach

I believe that learning starts with a connection between the student and the teacher. I will get to know your students and strive to make learning relevant to them.
