I truly believe in the art of self-expression. One passion that I have is that I love to dance! I use the art of dance to express my feelings as well as my culture. I also use dancing to burn calories and work out!

About Me

Hello, my name is DeAngela Jones-Smith and I am a soon-to-be graduate of Prairie View A&M University. I will be getting my Master’s in Sociology with a concentration in Business Administration. I also received my undergraduate degree in Sociology. I graduated from Texas State University in 2021.

Experience

I have been in the educational field for four years. More specifically, I have been a tutor and a mentor to a variety of age groups during those years. This includes being placed in homes, and schools, and teaching virtually as well as teaching individually and in groups.

Approach

My teaching philosophy is being motivational and encouraging to my students. I like to create a safe place for students to learn and to expand their knowledge.
