I love to help others. I am somewhat selfless when it comes to helping others because I like to go out of my way to ensure others are doing OK. This is true in any situation like school or work.

About Me

I am a rising senior at Roosevelt University in Chicago, Illinois. I am working on my bachelor's degree in English with a minor in political science. I hope to attend graduate school to earn my Ph.D. in criminology.

Experience

I am part of my school honor society, where I have had the privilege of effectively tutoring students one-on-one in my school's learning commons, specifically in their writing skills.

Approach

Growing up, I struggled to learn my school's curriculum. It got to the point where I wanted to quit because I knew I would not make it to graduation. However, this all changed when I began to meet with tutors who helped me through everything and pushed me to want to learn. But, most importantly, they were patient and persistent with me because I was a slow learner and had difficulty learning simple concepts.
