About Me

I just moved from Chicago to Brooklyn to enhance my career. I am looking to do more independent work like tutoring and writing but still stay in the field of education. I enjoy reading and relaxing when I am not working.

Experience

I worked as a Montessori preschool teacher for twelve years then took a break to publish my two books with Storey Publishing. During that break, I also wrote published articles for the American Montessori Society. I worked as a paraprofessional at a charter school in Chicago and then moved to Brooklyn to pursue my career.

Approach

As a Montessori teacher, I always taught each individual child the way that they learned best. I had personal lesson plans for each child and approached each lesson with respect. I understood that some teaching techniques did not work for every child.
