Fun Facts
I have a social media platform where I cosplay as an original half-dragon librarian character and recommend books to people. I was an active member of the Jersey City Slam Poetry community for five years, and I play Dungeons & Dragons.
About Me
I am a 29-year-old writer and illustrator, who also works in theater part-time. I have an MFA from The New School in Creative Writing, specializing in Children’s & Young Adult literature.
Experience
As a former editor for an online grassroots literary magazine, I have developed a critical eye for revising and editing others’ writing. I’ve been a private tutor for a family in the past, and I’ve worked a lot with elementary and middle school children through my work with Plato Learning LLC.
Approach
As a child with undiagnosed autism, I struggled a lot in school for years despite my intelligence and love of learning. Once I was given the proper tools and resources I needed, I excelled beyond expectation. I have been involved in the arts all my life. I took AP art in high school, have had a career in the theater arts, enjoy crafting as a hobby, and have been painting since middle school. some of the highest grades i’ve gotten consistently throughout my education was in art classes, and I am a semi-professional illustrator.
