One fun fact about me is I ran track for 11 years. From 11 years old and through college I have been a student athlete. Competitive on the track and with my grades!

About Me

I have been teaching for 6 years. I received my Bachelor’s from CUNY City College and my Master’s from Relay Graduate School of Education both degrees in Secondary English Education.

Experience

I have taught for 6 years in low-income areas reaching out to many diverse students. I have taught 7th grade World History, 8th grade US History, 7th grade English Language Arts and 8th Grade English Language Arts. In addition to my secondary experience, I have also taught elementary school for 2 years specializing in reading, decoding, phonemic skills, writing, and humanities.

Approach

My approach is keeping high expectations for kids while helping them through differentiation and access to tools and strategies that will help them reach those high expectations.
