Fun Facts
I was a choir singer for ten years and even competed professionally. I was born in raised in Rhode Island, but have lived in Maryland, Florida, Massachusetts, and Texas since graduating high school. I love to travel! My best friend is my sweet orange cat, Archie.
About Me
I am about halfway done with earning my Associate in Child Development at CCRI. When I'm done, I hope to move on to earn my Bachelor's in Early Childhood Ed. or Child Social Work!
Experience
I have worked professionally with children for over five years. While I am mainly a nanny, some of the other titles I have held include preschool teacher, coach (youth tennis), camp counsellor (I ran and organized a summer camp that hosted over 50 children a week), and babysitter.
Approach
Though I was always a pretty good student, I struggled with study skills and focus. In high school, I was diagnosed with ADHD. I believe this has shaped my perspective on teaching and tutoring, helping me to be much more understanding. I have worked with children and teens of all different abilities and backgrounds, which has allowed me to become a much more dynamic educator.
