About Me

I am a recent medical school graduate from Western Michigan University. I will be practicing in gynecology.

Experience

As a member of the National Honor Society in high school, I tutored many kids by volunteering. I tutored more professionally from 2018-2020. Post-graduate, I served as a TA to help students in undergraduate-level science classes.

Approach

I learned that if someone is not understanding a concept a certain way, it is not the student’s fault. It is our job as tutors to portray the information in different ways to help the students understand. One approach that may work for one student is not always going to be effective with another. It is important to be flexible and patient with teaching.
