I am the oldest of 8 kids, and I consider myself extremely blessed to have so many amazing built-in friends! I am left-handed and am a very easygoing and creative person! I believe that Life is what we make of it - so we might as well make it great! I Love teaching in any capacity as much as I love learning! About Me
My passion has always been to teach and work with children! Early Childhood has always fascinated me and my love for learning! Being the oldest of 8 children, I’ve learned and acquired much experience with various age groups.
I have taken many Education courses at Queens College, achieving 130 Credits in my overall college career. After dealing with some health issues, I am ready to go back and continue my education.
My goal is to foster the learning development of children so that they grow to view the world in a positive light.
I have a background in Science Courses, English Courses, Dance Courses, Education Courses, and Psychology Courses, Including Early Child Psychology. I consider myself to be a very well-rounded individual whose experiences have only made me a better teacher.
I’ve taught 3rd Grade Religion, and have Assistant Taught in Kindergarten. For several years, I was an After-School Teacher. For one year, I taught 5th Grade Science & 6th Grade ELA, being a 6th Grade Homeroom Teacher. I’ve taught 4 and 5-year-olds in a 5-week program for 2 Summers.
Recently, I’ve had the experience of being a 3K Lead Teacher and a lead 2K Lead Teacher. I’ve tutored 1st and 3rd Graders, 5th, and 6th Graders in ELA and Science.

Experience
When I was in Elementary school myself, I helped tutor Preschool and Kindergarten children. As I advanced to Queens College, I tutored 5th, 6th, and 7th graders, mainly in ELA/Writing, and in Science. I’ve also tutored a 6th grader in ELA/Writing and in Math.
Approach
My Teaching Philosophy: I believe that we are all capable of learning and that we all possess our very own unique style of learning! Different people learn in different ways & that is MORE than okay! I want those whom I teach to feel confident & to love discovering new concepts! I aim for them gain faith in their abilities. I’ve taught & have worked with children long enough to realize the impact that we have on their lives. I teach with love, patience, & creativity. My goal is to help you grow!
