About Me

Hello, I am Isaac (Zac) W. and I am Deaf. American Sign Language is my first language.

I have taught ASL to adults and children in group settings at my church. Through my experience, I know different ways to help students learn ASL and become conversational quickly.

Experience

I have experience teaching and working with people with special needs. I worked as a program lead for the Deaf Plus Adult Community and gained experience creating lesson plans suited for individuals with various learning disabilities. I am able to improvise on the spot to pivot if a teaching strategy isn’t working.

Approach

I studied and obtained a Bachelor's degree in graphic design at California State University of East Bay in 2015. During my time studying I gained skills in Adobe suites and can tutor this subject as well.

By tutoring with me, you will get first-hand experience using your ASL with a Deaf person, you will learn signs and conversation styles that the Deaf community currently use. And I promise you, your receptive skills will go through the roof.
