About Me

A Data Science graduate student with three years of experience as a consultant in the startups/VCs ecosystem seeking to transition into academia. With proven experience in teaching foundational STEM topics and a strong background in effectively tutoring high school and college freshmen.

Experience

Throughout my academic and professional career, I have gained valuable experience in teaching and mentoring. As a Teaching Assistant at Wabash College, I assisted a professor in his Calculus classes, graded homework, quizzes, and exams, and held one-to-one tutoring sessions with students outside classes. Additionally, as an Academic Chair of the TKE fraternity (Wabash College chapter,) I mentored a group of freshmen recruits to help them in academics, extracurriculars, and career development.

Approach

As a teacher, my approach is centred around empowering students, creating positive learning environments, providing quality instruction, improving students' performance, and promoting lifelong learning. I believe that building strong relationships with both parents and students is crucial in increasing student learning outcomes. To achieve this, I strive to be adaptable in mindset, availability, and approach.
