About Me

I graduated from college in 2008; where I received my Bachelor's in Science Degree in Elementary Education.
I also went back to school to get certified in American Sign Language Interpreting and Transliterating. I fell in love with the language and now teach American Sign Language full-time to high school students.

Experience

I have taught all together for 10 years; Three of those years as an elementary and middle school teacher. Now I am currently teaching my 7th year as an American Sign Language teacher. I learned ASL in high school and continued to grow as a passion of mine all the way into adulthood.

Approach

ASL is a visual language and the less English is used, the better. I use as many pictures, storytelling, and games so anyone of any age can learn the language easily.
