About Me

A recent graduate student who majored in Linguistics. I enjoy language learning and having a culture-inclusive environment. Reading, hiking, and how to stay mindful is important to me. I have experience teaching ages 2-10 years old with students with and without IEPs. Current 2nd grade ESL teacher teaching Spanish speaking population.

Approach

Education is the key to success for me and my family. Second generation and the second of 5 to attend college in my household. I want students to know learning can be fun and engaging. I want to teach core values within academics so students can learn themselves within the world while also learning content. Just as each student has a story to tell, I share my personal life story with them to hopefully find a middle ground where we can all grow together as a family.
