About Me

I've been teaching ASL for four years at a High School level. My journey with ASL started when I was 16 years old due to my cousin being Deaf. I found joy in the idea of helping others.

Experience

I taught younger children ASL through art to make it more enjoyable. I traveled to Ghana to teach ASL at a Deaf school for two months.

Approach

As a child, I struggled in School Learning different languages was never my strength. I learned later on in life that I am a visual learner, so ASL became very easy for me. I am glad I found something that I was good at, and now when I teach students, I make sure they know you may not be good at everything, but there is one thing you will be good at stick to it and stay positive.
