Fun Facts
Assisting people to advance their careers and education is one of my favorite things to do in general. I also love to watch sports such as basketball
About Me
I am an Economics major from The University of Southern California who has learned the importance of showing up to be the best versions of ourselves at every opportunity we have in the classroom. Although I have interests academically beyond Mathematics, math is my specialty in tutoring as it is a universal language that rarely has flaws in its consistency. The only time this becomes untrue is when solving various math problems that can be solved correctly through more than one concrete path. Knowing how to solve the same math problem in multiple different approaches really makes students extremely versatile across the board in all of their academic endeavors.
Experience
Most of my tutoring experience took place in high school and college for my peers. Although I tutored much more in college than in high school, I really found a love for it early in my high school years.
Approach
As a child, I understood tracking in the school system at a rather young age. I saw how some students fall behind more quickly in their curriculum than others by no fault of their own and often not even aware of the negative effects that had happened to someone's quality of education by being behind the rest of the class for so long. I take a personal approach to every student I work with, to not only master course material, but to also be aware of how to advocate for oneself in the school system
