I am an elementary teacher in the City of Bridgeport.

Experience

• Prepare and implement teaching strategies in whole group and small group learning environments for grade six students.
• Equip and apply weekly math intervention strategies for small group instruction.
• Prepare and implement Social and Emotional Learning for instruction.
• Introduce Positive Behavior Intervention Support to prevent problem behavior and improve classroom performance.
• Document and observe growth, development, and skills for review of reaching the student's goals.

Approach

I develop relationships with my students to create and cultivate a positive learning environment. I prepare and organize my lessons to provide a secure and comfortable classroom for all students to learn.
