About Me

I am a current senior in high school with a 3.8 GPA.
I love poetry slams and have even hosted a couple.
I love the color yellow and I also love to write.
I could read one book in a day, especially on my off days.

Experience

I’ve done homework help and created worksheets and curriculums that work for individual kids. Sometimes I did hands-on work, and other times, it was easier for kids to understand if it was written down. I have learned to adapt to kids' needs and adjust my work depending on what the student needs and is struggling with. I have taken multiple college courses as I am still in high school and am still taking more. So I am fully able to teach subjects, especially reading and writing.

Approach

As a child, I was always one of those students who were extremely skilled in one subject, reading and was terrible at math. I could write you a five-page essay in an hour but I could not tell you the formula for area. But I found something that worked. I need hands-on learning, I need to physically see the math I am doing. It was the way I learned and no one understood it. But because of my personal experience, I am now able to adapt to what the student needs.
