About Me

I am an English tutor and mentor who has facilitated educational activities at the Bronx Zoo and New York Public Library. I enjoy reading, writing and learning new things and love to encourage students to find joy in learning.

Experience

I began tutoring my peers in High school. I helped them brainstorm for History and English papers and assisted them with editing for clarity and proper grammar. I continued to tutor and facilitate educational activities throughout college. Some of the subjects I have tutored and facilitated have been History, ELA and essay writing. I have worked with children of all age groups from kindergarten to High school.

Approach

I meet students where they are and help to figure out where they are getting stuck so that we can find the best teaching method to break through and move forward. I believe that everyone learns and sees the world differently so learning how students learn and process information best is super important in being able to support them.
