I have my own clothing brand, I go to school and manage to find time to run my business. I enjoy playing basketball, I’m extremely multi-talented, and I can play the drums. I have a fascination with astrology/astronomy and I take an interest in Japanese animated series

About Me

I’m a sophomore in college, born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. I played basketball for a little while in New York up until my sophomore year in high school and injured my ankle. Of course, this led to me playing less but I was always a book worm basketball helped me keep my head in those books. I currently reside in Connecticut now, I moved 2 years ago with my family and now I’m utilizing the opportunities and new doors that Connecticut has opened for me to better my life and provide for those I care about.

Experience

Was an honour roll student all throughout high school, took consecutive college level courses including math and English. AP classes and tutored my family members when they struggled with their coursework. I’m studying science/connecticut/new-haven">computer science engineering at Gateway Community College, I have experience coding Linux and Python. I own my own business, which is a clothing brand which validates my experience in arts,

Approach

Being in an impoverished community, it was hard to find affordable help for classes and school. If my parent didn’t understand I had no other choice but to understand, so I had to will myself to get it. I don’t want others to struggle the same way that I did so I want to give back as much as possible.
