One fun fact about me is that I have a cat named Misty! She is three years old, and I absolutely adore her! Her nickname is Flea because when we got her (from a farm!) she had fleas!

About Me

I am a current sophomore at Fordham University Lincoln Center, where I am on the pre-law track and majoring in Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies. I love to read, write, and play the flute and guitar. I am looking for students who need help with ELA.

Experience

During my internship at my local Child Advocacy Center, I was able to gain experience working with children and helping them through their struggles. Combined with my strive and achievement of academic excellence, I am well equipped to help tutor children in English-related subjects. I pride myself on my organizational skills as one of my biggest strengths.

Approach

I know that positive reinforcement, patience, and a calm demeanor are all things that will contribute to the success of a student I'm tutoring. Each student learns a different way, so it is important to me to discover what works best for each student individually to help them learn and understand the material. Organization is also key to maintaining and successfully completing work.
