Before my academic life, I used to work in early childhood education with little ones from the ages of infants to 5 years old!

About Me

I an MFA writing student at Columbia University (only a few months from completing my master's!) I am passionate about learning and helping people reach their goals.

Experience

I taught seventh grade for a year and tutored both high schoolers and kids in elementary/middle school for over five years in writing, reading, and test prep. I have an experience teaching students with dyslexia. I'm also a published author!

Approach

I focus heavily on finding each student's individual learning style (beginning with seeing if they're responding to any of the three main types) and work closely with them to make both studying and learning less frustrating and more exciting so that they feel proud of what they can accomplish!
