About Me

I am currently interning for an organization called YoungLife.
I am enrolled to begin studying at HOSTOS College this upcoming January.
I have had experience with children since I was a freshman in high school

Experience

During COVID-19 for about two years, I began tutoring the kids in my building and neighborhood for small rates an hour while their parents worked either virtually or in person.

Approach

Growing up I struggled with school because either there wasn't enough help in the school or I was too afraid to be "that" kid to always ask for help. However, in the third grade, I had the best teacher assistant who made me understand and learn all that I struggled with especially helping me reverse the idea that asking for help is a bad thing.
