About Me

I am a Harvard PhD student in Chemical Biology with 10+ years of tutoring and teaching experience both in informal and formal classroom settings. I really enjoy teaching students of all ages and have plans to pursue a teaching career after my PhD.

Experience

I have experience tutoring middle school, high school, and college students in a variety of subjects from English to Chemistry. I have also taught college-level courses in Organic Chemistry I/II, Biology, and General Chemistry and have written exams and problem sets for those courses. Additionally, as a published writer and editor for scientific journals and the Harvard Science News website, I also have the professional writing and editing experience to help students excel in their English cou

Approach

Teachers have a significant impact on student learning. I personally do not think I would be where I am today without the help of some amazing teachers who clearly conveyed difficult topics and patiently answered my many questions. I aim to be that kind of teacher for my future students as well.
