During my free time, you will most likely find me engaged in some sort of art activity, but it will probably be sculpting! I love working with my hands and being able to create pieces that hold meaning to me. I especially love working on art projects on gloomy and rainy days!

About Me

I am currently serving as an Afterschool Program Coordinator, where I ensure all students are receiving high-quality after-school enrichment. However, I am embarking on a new chapter as I pursue my career goal of becoming a dentist. I am enthusiastic about the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead in my pursuit of making a meaningful impact on oral health and well-being.

Experience

As an Afterschool Program Coordinator, I manage all before- and after-school ACE program activities on campus to promote student success. In this role, I have gained ample experience in providing tutoring/homework assistance to students, offering enrichment opportunities, and fostering college/career readiness.

Approach

In my approach to working with youth, my foremost priority is to establish meaningful connections. I firmly believe that even the most reserved student can open up when shown genuine interest in their life beyond the classroom. By creating an environment where students feel valued and heard, I aim to foster not only academic growth but also personal development, emphasizing the transformative power of respectful communication in building trust and rapport with each child.
