Fun Facts
I have a strong knack for science, I always have and this coupled with the fact that both my parents are licensed teachers has given me an understanding of the importance of educating others.
About Me
I recently graduated from George Mason University and moved up to New York to live in the city, I feel that until you can properly communicate something you have learned to others you have not fully understood what you know, with that in mind I feel it is important I communicate what I have learned to others.
Experience
I have worked as a Learning Assistant with George Mason University, where I taught college-level students a very challenging concept, Multivariable Calculus, I was in charge of helping students with homework, answering any questions that students may have and occasionally teaching the class when the professor was out sick.
Approach
My approach to teaching is simple, I learn the subject for myself such that I know it very well and then when teaching I tend to be very high energy, this helps get students' attention and understand the importance of what they are learning, then it's just a question of relaying the information from me to the student which usually is done by explaining the concept as simply as possibly without omitting anything important.
